  • Amy Collins, Vice President of People & Engagement

    Amy is an experienced people leader with over 25 years of work in organizational culture and change. She excels in problem-solving, relationship-building, program development, and restorative and transformative justice principles. Amy is dedicated to fostering inclusive, nurturing, and growth-oriented workplaces where trust, authenticity, empathy, and accountability are valued.

    Amy leads the People and Engagement Team in developing and executing company strategies that align with and support SVH's mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities. Together, we are unlocking the full potential of our people to create lasting positive change, and cultivate workplaces where everyone can flourish.

  • Kristina Ewing, Director of Health & Wellbeing

    Guided by a deep commitment to our employees and their families, Kristina consistently implements comprehensive award-winning programs that prioritize a holistic approach to wellbeing, provide exceptional service, and maintain fiscal responsibility. With over 20 years in the construction space, Kristina combined her professional experiences from previous careers in retail management and finance to develop what is now our robust Health & Wellbeing Department.

  • Korede Alabi, Chief Financial Officer

    Korede is a key member of the executive team and provides strategic financial oversight for SVH. His thoughtful leadership guides groups that serve in finance, accounting and payroll. His with his fresh perspective and expertise Korede is a key part of our success as we support all the people and entities in the SVH family. Outside of work, Korede is a strong supporter of the community and routinely engages with local non-profits.

  • Patrick Desimone, Director of Business Integration

    Patrick’s mission is optimization of complex processes, systems, and organizations by developing, improving, and implementing integrated systems of people, technology, knowledge, and construction while managing the resulting change. Additionally, he is responsible for overseeing Learning and Development for SVH and its companies.

    He is driven by an affinity for process improvement with the goal of saving time that would be better spent with family. Patrick pulls from his 10 years of experience as a PE/PM to understand the pain points of our people.

  • Joel Andersen, Chief Executive Officer

    Joel’s passion and energy are contagious in his role as Chief Executive Officer, directing the organization’s long-term vision and focus. Inspired by the possible, he loves the process of construction because it elicits the very best of what a team can do working together. He respects the ability to take an empty site or abandoned building and transform a neighborhood or community, turning someone’s dream into reality in the process.

  • Vicky Elkin, Vice President of Risk Management / General Counsel

    Vicky Elkin brings over two decades of litigation experience in her current role as Vice President Risk Management / General Counsel. Vicky represents and directs the representation of SVH in all legal matters. She advises Senior Management on issues of policy and procedure, supports the Project Management Teams, and works to mitigate company risk. Beyond her commitment to continuing education and maintaining current industry legal knowledge, Vicky is a member of the American Bar Association, the Association of Corporate Counsel, the Defense Research Institute, state and local bar associations in Idaho and Oregon, National Safety Council, and the National Association of Women in Construction.

  • Brian Bates, IT Director

    In his role of IT Director at Shoestring Valley Holdings, Brian oversees the strategic direction and management of IT systems. With a focus on continuous improvement and over 15 years of IT experience within the construction industry, Brian is committed to providing innovative solutions and exceptional service that align with strategic goals, support operational efficiency, and promote growth.

  • Michelle Tilly, Talent Acquisition Director

    Michelle directs the Talent Acquisition strategies for the Shoestring Valley Holdings companies. Michelle is passionate about creating a best-in-class employee experience producing a sense of community within the organization. She has developed and implemented comprehensive talent acquisition strategies to attract, recruit, develop and retain top talent. Achieving results through building relationships with each employee and their family, Michelle coined the saying, “I Build the People that Build the Buildings.”

  • Travis Baker, President

    Travis began his professional career in 1995 and is inspired by both business and personal relationships.  Travis is passionate about SVH’s people, and leads our company to deliver best-in-class outcomes every time, such that our clients would choose us again and again.  Grounded in our nine core values, Travis strives for SVH and its affiliate companies to engage collaboratively with each other, nurturing an already strong culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and community impact.  Travis has been part of the SVH family since 1999 and is responsible for guiding and serving each of SVH’s business units. guiding and serving each of SVH’s business units.

    He leads our Executive Leadership Team and drives strategies that ensure enterprise success for generations to come. Travis graduated from George Fox University in Newberg, OR with a B.A. in Business and holds a MBA in Management & Organizational Leadership.

  • Jessica Quick, Director of Finance and Accounting

    As the Finance and Accounting Director, Jessica is committed to financial integrity and responsibility. Guided by the core values, Jessica ensures financial stability and provides the necessary resources and guidance for individual and organizational success, making our collective mission achievable.

  • David Andersen, Chairman of the Board

    David grew up around construction, working summers as a teen for the contracting business his father started in 1950. His early construction education then grew into a lifelong commitment to the built environment. His background and successful career in the AEC industry gives David a deep perspective for SVH and all the entities it serves. David’s insight is at the heart of SVH’s values and guides strategic direction for the company.

  • Scott Freeman, Quality Assurance & Design Manager

    Scott is the developer of SVH’s QA/QC Program as well as a licensed architect. He has been a certified QA/QC Manager for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. While Scott’s QA/QC processes include both proactive and reactive components, his emphasis on the proactive side of Quality Control proves to be effective at preventing most quality deficiencies before they happen. Complementing Quality Control as well as Lean Construction practices, Scott has experience as the BIM Manager on various complex projects including university research/laboratory and downtown high rise projects.

  • Cynthia Cooper, Learning & Development Manager

    Cynthia Cooper has a background in adult learning and education and is committed to providing effective and holistic learning to all employees. Her goal is to instill a culture of lifelong learning by promoting educational opportunities and skill building for wherever employees are in their roles. Focusing on a people-centered approach, she cultivates an organizational environment that prioritizes development, diversity, and growth.

  • Ryan McCullough, Construction Innovation Strategist

    As the leader of technology development and strategy at SVH, Ryan guides the company through the complexities of emerging technologies. With a history in software engineering and architecture, Ryan integrates industry knowledge with strategic foresight and technical expertise, allowing the company to capitalize on innovative processes.

    Ryan crafts programs and policies that cultivate a culture of innovation and technological agency throughout the organization. When faced with challenges other providers have overlooked, he encourages a hands-on approach by developing bespoke software solutions. By championing innovation, Ryan ensures that SVH not only sustains its competitive edge, but also establishes new paradigms within the industry.

    Andrea leads our talented group of professionals in continuing to support all of the SVH family of companies’ marketing, branding, and communications needs. Andrea has a great enthusiasm for people and working with teams to bring complex projects from the early stages of articulating challenges and analysis all the way to compelling brand stories, strategic solutions and opportunities.
